Our Rooms
Attic Room: Our en-suite Attic room has a beautiful Victorian brass king-size Reylon bed, reclaimed hand-carved pine furniture, sitting area with 2 very comfortable Lloyd Loom chairs. TV with DVD player, fridge, iron & iron board.
4-Poster: Our large en-suite 4-Poster room has just recently been refurbished and now has a beautiful hand-carved pine king-size 4-poster bed complete with a Tempa memory mattress. The room is tastefully decorated & furnished with reclaimed hand carved furniture together with a lounge area with 2 very comfortable Lloyd Loom chairs, TV/DVD player, fridge, iron & iron board.
Victorian Room: Our large en-suite Victorian Room has just recently been refurbished with a Victorian brass king-size bed complete with a Tempa memory mattress and furnished with reclaimed hand carved pine furniture. Briardene Guest House is a traditional Lakeland stone house built in 1888 and full of Victorian charm and character. Many of its original features have been retained, such as the elegant pitch pine staircase, stained glass windows, and coving. For the comfort of our guests Briardene Guest House has double glazed sash windows with all rooms having controlled heating to allow you to determine the temperature. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and cleanliness, while you will find all the accommodation tastefully & comfortably decorated.
Our regular guests appreciate the quiet, relaxed atmosphere at Briardene and we endeavour to continue this at all times. That's why we do not have the facilities to accept children and group bookings and we also request no entry to the building after 12.00 at night. |
